Detroit based Make This World Foundation in collaboration with other community partners, has launched Detroit Open Media (DOM) as a public service to promote civic engagement and cultural exchange by providing access to professional media tools and training. Since 2015 we’ve conducted broadcast media training for adults and children throughout the Detroit and Ann Arbor areas. Our signature “Broadcast Bootcamp” summer learning experience for youth was introduced in 2017 and will be offered as a year-round learning opportunity for all ages at DOM.

We’ll also operate digital radio & TV stations GoodVibe.FM and GoodVibe.TV as the area’s only 100% locally programmed community media network from DOM studios. Detroit Open Media (DOM) will provide community accessible spaces designed to train original content producers on cutting edge technology.  Our goal is to prepare members with the skills and tools to tell their own stories as well as showcase the creative talent of the region.
